Our Programs
Stanbridge Academy was founded in 1982 specifically for students who learn differently. Our academic program is designed for students who benefit from small class sizes and individualized instruction. Beyond academics, the Stanbridge program focuses on the whole child, which is why executive functioning, physical education, arts, speech and language, counseling, experiential learning, and assistive technology are integrated throughout all of our grade levels. Additionally, our Transitions Program works with high school students and their families to ensure there is a clear postsecondary plan in place for students after graduation.
Despite remaining relatively small (approximately 100 students total), Stanbridge strives to offer a complete, well-rounded school experience.
Our co-ed athletics teams participate in competitive league sports such as basketball, volleyball, and handball. We offer year-round afterschool enrichment clubs for students in all grades, and a robust, multi-week Summer School program. Stanbridge also features traditional school activities such as quarterly assemblies, high school dances, prom, student government, community service opportunities, and annual events such as the Fall Book Fair, Student Talent Show, holiday concerts, afterschool field trips, and more.
